Rolling Stones Collaborate with Paul McCartney to Record New Song

Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney Collaborate on Upcoming Album

In a surprising collaboration, legendary rock band the Rolling Stones and former Beatle Paul McCartney have teamed up to record a song together for the Stones’ new album. A spokesperson for the Stones confirmed McCartney’s involvement in the project, stating that the musician recorded bass parts for one song on the album, which is expected to be released later this year.

Variety reported that the recording sessions were done in Los Angeles recently, with McCartney joining the project under the guidance of 2021 Grammy producer of the year Andrew Watt. While the report also mentioned that McCartney’s ex-bandmate Ringo Starr was set to play on the album, the Stones’ spokesperson clarified that Starr was not involved.

This new album marks the Stones’ first release since the passing of their drummer Charlie Watts in 2021. In a video message to fans last month, Stones guitarist Keith Richards hinted at the upcoming project, saying, “there’s some new music on its way.” The collaboration with McCartney adds another layer of excitement for fans eagerly anticipating the band’s latest offering.
