Vin Diesel’s latest blockbuster, Fast X, is accelerating towards the prestigious Rs 100-crore club at the Indian box office. The action-packed film has already garnered an impressive Rs 93.9 crore nett within just 11 days since its release on May 18, according to box office records. Not only is Fast X dominating the Indian market, but it has also revved past the USD 500-million milestone globally.

Directed by the talented Louis Leterrier, the tenth installment of the adrenaline-fueled Fast and Furious franchise raced ahead with Rs 3.3 crore nett on its second Friday, followed by a hefty Rs 10.9 crore nett over the second weekend. Joining Vin Diesel in this high-octane ride are celebrated stars such as Jason Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang, John Cena, Brie Larson, and Hellen Mirren, who deliver captivating performances that have enthralled audiences.

Meanwhile, Walt Disney Pictures’ The Little Mermaid, which made its splash on May 26, has already made a wave at the box office, amassing USD 185.8 million globally during its opening weekend. The captivating live-action musical garnered USD 117.5 million in the US market and an additional USD 68.3 million internationally. Surprisingly, even in India, the magical tale managed to charm audiences, collecting nearly Rs 3.3 crore nett during the same period.
